How to run a football club fine jar without a notebook

Most amateur clubs still track fines in a notebook, a pinned WhatsApp message, or a spreadsheet only one person can edit. Totals drift. New players never see the rules. The end-of-season meal gets funded by whoever remembers to pay.

Create a Fine Tracker group from the football template. The presets cover late training, cards, forgotten kit, and missed matches. Change the amounts to match your club.

Share the invite code in the team chat. Players join free on their phones and can install Fine Tracker on the home screen. They cannot issue fines. That is the point: one treasurer, one source of truth.

After training, issue fines in a batch. Players get an email. They mark paid when they settle up the way you already collect money. Fine Tracker does not take the cash. It keeps the ledger honest.

Use a season label when the year turns over. Keep last season's leaderboard for the presentation night.
